They say superheroes don’t exist…, but as a young girl growing up, I was blessed to have my Grandma Ruby as my SUPERHERO.
I was insecure, bullied, and lacked self-confidence as a young girl.
My Grandma somehow knew what was happening to me; she never said anything and knew my self-image was fading.
She would always call me her Strong Girl, filling my head with encouraging words and stories of strength. She taught me how to feel secure, build resilience, act independently, and make sense of self-worth.
She embodied Positive Psychology and the “Strong Girl Spirit” in my brutal world. She was ahead of her time! She is why I feel called to coach, write, and speak today~
My practice is grounded in Positive Psychology, a research-based branch of psychology that studies what causes people to thrive and flourish in their lives and work and how we can apply those findings practically.
I came to this work following a very successful eighteen-year career as an executive with a Fortune 200 Company.
I felt a nudge to do more, influence, and connect differently, and every gut instinct led me to coach. Hum, I wonder if my Grandma had anything to do with that?
I have over 25+ years of experience empowering leaders and their teams to address challenges, find new opportunities, and strategize change to achieve breakthrough success in their businesses. Additionally, I have facilitated workshops for 25,000+ audience members, supporting them in behavioral transformations.

I live in Williamsburg, Virginia, and enjoy biking, walking, and traveling. I enjoy painting, making a good pizza, drinking a nice glass of wine, and spending time with family and friends.
I draw my strength, energy, and desire to help change people's lives from my fantastic adult children, their partners/spouses, four grandchildren, five grand pups, and biggest fan and support, my husband Eric.
My mission is to be that voice and support for youth, women, and men everywhere, as my grandma did for me many years ago.
